How is the Virginia Swimming Zone team picked?

At least three zone cuts (short course, long course or both) and a Virginia long course champs swim. Relays are filled by IMX score and Power Points.

When and where is Age Group Zones in 2027?

The Eastern Zone Long Course Age Group Championships is August 4–7, 2027, NOVA Aquatic Center, Richmond, Virginia. It's long course, for ages 10 & under, 11-12 and 13-14. Each LSC sets its own selection process, with no limit on swimmers.

What time do you need for Zones?

The Eastern Zone's 2027 Age Group qualifying times. For Virginia Swimming, the cut is the whole test: anyone who holds it and applies can go.

What is the MySwimApp Power Score?

The sum of a swimmer's best 6 USA Swimming Power Points across the Zones events, in either course, over the last 12 months. Power Points put a 50 free and a 400 IM on one scale and adjust for age, so it ranks everyone in an age group the way most scored Zones selections do.
