A AAA time in any course, registered through Team Illinois.
When and where is Age Group Zones in 2027?
The Central Zone 14 & Under Championships is August 5–8, 2027, Region 3, Elkhart, Indiana. It's long course, for ages 10 & under, 11-12 and 13-14. No limit per LSC.
What time do you need for Zones?
In 2026 any National AAA time, in any course, qualified. Each 2027 region sets its own standards, which aren't posted yet. For Illinois Swimming, the cut is the whole test: anyone who holds it and applies can go.
What is the MySwimApp Power Score?
The sum of a swimmer's best 6 USA Swimming Power Points across the Zones events, in either course, over the last 12 months. Power Points put a 50 free and a 400 IM on one scale and adjust for age, so it ranks everyone in an age group the way most scored Zones selections do.
