Questions parents ask

Who can swim at the Central Zone North Sectionals?
Swimmers registered with a club in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin (the North section of the Central Zone) who have a qualifying time in the event. Takes up to 100 out-of-section swimmers. Long course this year, where 2026 was short course.
When and where are the Central Zone North Sectionals in 2027?
Spring: March 11–14, 2027, Waukee, Iowa.
Are these the 2027 Central Zone North Sectionals cuts?
Yes. They are from the section's 2026-27 sheet, linked at the bottom of this page.
Are Sectionals cuts the same everywhere?
No. There is no national Sectionals cut. Each zone splits its LSCs into sections, and each section publishes its own times, so a Waukee cut only counts for the Central Zone North Sectionals.
