Swimmers aged 13-18 in these LSCs already hold 15,336 of these cuts, and 7,401 more swims are within 2% of a cut. Counted per event, so a swimmer with three cuts counts three times.

Questions parents ask

Who can swim at the Eastern Zone Sectionals – North?
Swimmers registered with a club in Adirondack, Connecticut, Maine, Metropolitan, New England, Niagara and New Jersey (the Region I of the Eastern Zone) who have a qualifying time in the event. The same cuts apply at the zone-wide long course Sectional in Buffalo that weekend; a swimmer picks one. Times count from June 1, 2025.
When and where are the Eastern Zone Sectionals – North in 2027?
Short course: March 18–21, 2027, Providence, Rhode Island. Long course (zone-wide): March 2027, Buffalo, New York.
Are these the 2027 Eastern Zone Sectionals – North cuts?
Yes. They are from the section's 2026-27 sheet, linked at the bottom of this page.
Are Sectionals cuts the same everywhere?
No. There is no national Sectionals cut. Each zone splits its LSCs into sections, and each section publishes its own times, so a Providence cut only counts for the Eastern Zone Sectionals – North.
