Swimmers aged 13-18 in these LSCs already hold 29,048 of these cuts, and 9,337 more swims are within 2% of a cut. Counted per event, so a swimmer with three cuts counts three times.

Questions parents ask

Who can swim at the CA/NV Speedo Sectionals?
Swimmers registered with a club in Southern California, Central California, Pacific, San Diego Imperial and Sierra Nevada (the California/Nevada section) who have a qualifying time in the event. One set of cuts covers every CA/NV Sectionals this season. Spring and summer run two sites on the same weekend; swimmers pick one.
When and where are the CA/NV Speedo Sectionals in 2027?
Winter: December 18–21, 2026, Walnut, California. Spring: February 25–28, 2027, Carlsbad or Elk Grove, California. Summer: July 15–18, 2027, Novato or Roseville, California.
Are these the 2027 CA/NV Speedo Sectionals cuts?
Yes. They are from the section's 2026-27 sheet, linked at the bottom of this page.
Are Sectionals cuts the same everywhere?
No. There is no national Sectionals cut. Each zone splits its LSCs into sections, and each section publishes its own times, so a Walnut cut only counts for the CA/NV Speedo Sectionals.
